Very First Blog... EVER! 10.11.2023

Welcome to my very first photography blog! I am so excited to share my passion for capturing moments and telling stories through the lens. Photography has always been a part of my life, but recently, I decided to take it to the next level and share my work with the world.

In this blog, I will be sharing my favorite photographs, discussing different techniques and equipment, and providing tips and tricks for aspiring photographers. I hope to inspire others to explore the beauty of the world and find their own unique perspective through photography.

I believe that every photograph has a story to tell, and I can't wait to share those stories with you. Whether it's a breathtaking landscape, a candid portrait, or an abstract composition, each image has its own message and emotion. I will dive into the details behind my photographs, explaining the thought process and inspiration behind each shot.

I want this blog to be a platform for connecting with fellow photography enthusiasts. Together, we can learn and grow in our passion for photography.

Thank you for joining me on this exciting journey. I can't wait to share my love for photography with all of you. Stay tuned for my next post, where I will be showcasing my favorite photographs from my recent trip to the mountains.

Until then, keep capturing moments and telling stories through your lens!

Fear 10.15.2023

I never realized how much fear could hold a person back from greatness until I embarked on this journey. I've always considered myself a very confident and outgoing person but boy have I been doubting myself since starting my photography business.

Friday I had a family session that I almost canceled because the weather called for clouds. This meant I wasn't going to get that beautiful golden hour glow I loved so much. I was so afraid I couldn't deliver great photos because I'd never shot in that type of lighting. I went ahead and did the session anyways and guess what!?!?! I think I nailed it! I loved the way the photos turned out. What's even better, my clients LOVED them as well.

I'm learning to fall in love with the doubt and tackling it head on, it's such a great way to build confidence. Cheers to getting outside of my comfort zone and growing my photography skills each and every day!
